Singer-songwriter Sam Ryden released his first solo album, “Sometimes” while still a high school student in Northfield. He refuses to be bound to a single genre category, pulling from various styles including folk, acoustic blues, pop and gospel. Now a high school senior, Ryden performs for audiences as small as a few coffee-shop patrons to as large as a Minnesota State Fair Grandstand audience of 9,000. He can often be found playing a variety of Northfield events, from brewery evenings to daytime riverside markets
